If you could go backward and change a decision you made, what would it be? Have you ever heard the saying, “when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade, although, lemons can also be used to throw?” Personally, I prefer to be the thrower!

One of the worst and hardest realities of life is that time will keep ticking even if you decide to take a break and stop for a second. Sometimes we regret some decisions that we made and want to go back in time a change them. What I think about more often is what can I do to prevent the whole process of regret in the first place? This thought pops into my head all the time whether I’m writing an exam or buying new clothes. But most of all when I’m feeling really happy or really mad. It is scientifically proven that humans make some of the worst choices in either the state of happiness or anger because during these states, a person is flooded with a hurricane of emotions that cloud their judgment. I always get really quiet when I am mad because I know I won’t be able to control myself if I open my mouth. When I am really happy, I tend to make promises to either myself or others that I might not be able to keep.

Thinking back to moments of vulnerability, I wish that someone made something powerful enough to turn back time so I could hold on to the lemons, make lemonade, take a sip, and calm down before my brain even thinks about throwing them!
